Schroeder Amplification And The Church Recording Studio To Host Guitar Amp Showcase And Jam Session
[Feb 12, 2018]
HIGHLAND PARK, IL - Schroeder Amplification will host a series of guitar amp demos and tryouts, along with an informal jam session at The Church Recording Studio in Pittsburgh, PA on Monday, March 5, 2018 beginning at 7:00 pm.
Attendees will have an opportunity to play through a number of Schroeder amplifiers including the unveiling of the all-new Ramjet amplifier plus the SA9+, SA9-REC, Dozer and other models in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.
Schroeder amplifiers combine traditional guitar amplifier design with ultimate-quality components usually found only in high-end audio products. The amps deliver exceptional clarity, touch sensitivity and ability to go from clean tones to harmonically complex overdrive.
The Church Recording Studio is built in a historic 1936 converted church and features superlative acoustics thanks to its 30-foot-high wooden cathedral ceiling and "rooms that sing," as owner Dana Cannone notes. The studio features a host of world-class recording gear and has hosted projects from the top artists in our region as well as many well-known national and international clients.
Tim Schroeder, president of Schroeder Amplification will be there, along with Dana Cannone and audio/video production professional Bruce Marshall, whose has extensive television, film and music experience and whose clients include guitar master Adrian Belew and progressive rock legends King Crimson among others.
"These sessions will offer participants a chance to play our amplifiers in a setting where they can really hear what these amps are capable of," said Schroeder. "While we'll have a few scheduled presentations, we're going to allow most of the time for people to play the amps, ask questions, jam with other musicians and mostly mingle and have fun!"
The event will take place on Monday, March 5 from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Space is limited – please RSVP to Dana Cannone at email@example.com.
About Schroeder Amplification
Schroeder Amplification was founded by Tim Schroeder as a natural evolution of his decades of experience as a master luthier and amplifier technician. Tim trained as a luthier and audio technician before opening Schroeder Guitar Repair in 1991. During this time he began development of amplifiers to complement the guitars and ultimately founded Schroeder Amplification, currently located in Highland Park, Illinois.
Schroeder's "guitar amplifier meets high-end audio" approach makes it the only company to extensively use audiophile-grade internal components in guitar amplifiers. Usually found only in high-end audio products, the use of such audiophile parts is evident in Schroeder amplifiers' full frequency response, exceptional touch sensitivity and ability to go from crystalline clarity to richly saturated, harmonically complex overdrive. Schroeder's growing artist roster includes Jeff Tweedy and Nels Cline (Wilco), Jake Cinninger (Umphrey's McGee), Modest Mouse, Andrew Bird, Rusted Root and others.
